About the Paintings
I paint exclusive in oils. Most of the paintings featured on this site are painted on stretched canvas. Many of the paintings features in the Gallery have found homes in private collections in Hawai‘i and around the world.
Most paintings are painted on canvases called “gallery wrap.”
These canvases are wrapped around the stretcher bars and painted along the edges, usually 1 1/2 inch wide, and do not require a frame to have a finished, “ready to hang” look. The gallery wrap does not limit the possiblities should you elect to frame your painting.
